The Secret to the Best Homemade Crunchwrap Supremes
Perfectly Seasoned Beef
The heart of every great Crunchwrap is flavorful taco meat. A well-seasoned beef filling creates the savory base that pairs perfectly with the creamy sour cream, fresh vegetables, and melty cheese.
The Signature Crunch
The tostada shell is what transforms a simple taco into a Crunchwrap Supreme. Layering it between the warm beef and cool toppings gives every bite the perfect combination of crispy, creamy, and cheesy textures.
Golden, Crispy Tortillas
Cooking the Crunchwrap seam-side down first helps seal everything together while creating that perfectly golden, crispy tortilla everyone loves.
Recipe Tips
Warm your tortillas before folding to prevent cracking.
Avoid overfilling the Crunchwraps so they're easier to fold.
Cook over medium heat for an evenly crisp tortilla.
Let the cooked Crunchwrap rest for a minute before slicing.
Serve immediately while the tortilla is still crispy.

Homemade Crunchwrap Supremes
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes
Yield: 8 Crunchwrap Supremes
Ingredients
2 tablespoons grapeseed oil, divided
1 pound ground beef
2 tablespoons taco seasoning
4 (12-inch) flour tortillas
½ cup nacho cheese
4 tostada shells
½ cup sour cream
2 cups shredded lettuce
1 Roma tomato, diced
1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
Instructions
Heat 1 tablespoon of grapeseed oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the ground beef and cook for 3 to 5 minutes, breaking it into crumbles as it cooks, until browned. Stir in the taco seasoning and cook until evenly combined. Drain any excess grease and set aside.
Heat the nacho cheese according to the package instructions.
Working one at a time, lay a flour tortilla flat. Add a portion of the seasoned ground beef to the center, then top with warm nacho cheese and a tostada shell.
Spread sour cream evenly over the tostada shell, then top with shredded lettuce, diced tomato, and shredded Mexican blend cheese.
Fold the edges of the tortilla up and over the center, working your way around until the Crunchwrap is tightly sealed.
Heat the remaining tablespoon of grapeseed oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place the Crunchwrap seam-side down and cook for about 2 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Carefully flip and cook the other side for 1 to 2 minutes, until golden brown.
Repeat with the remaining Crunchwraps and serve immediately.
Recipe Notes
Warm the tortillas for 10 to 15 seconds in the microwave before assembling to help prevent cracking while folding.
Don't overfill the Crunchwraps or they may be difficult to seal.
Cook seam-side down first to help keep everything securely folded.
Serve immediately for the crispiest tortilla and best texture.
Storage Instructions
Store leftover Crunchwrap Supremes in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
For the best texture, reheat them in a skillet, air fryer, or oven until crispy. Microwaving is convenient but won't keep the tortilla as crisp.
Variations
Customize your Crunchwrap with your favorite fillings!
Swap the beef for shredded chicken or ground turkey.
Make it vegetarian with black beans and seasoned rice.
Add jalapeños for extra spice.
Drizzle with nacho cheese sauce for even more cheesiness.
Add guacamole or sliced avocado.
Try a breakfast version with scrambled eggs, sausage, and hash browns.
